Wahoo Tiki Mug - Cowry & Puka Shell Necklace

Wahoo is a carving that I fell in love with decades back here on Maui that was carved out of wood and stood tall at the entrance to a hale out on the East side of the island in Hana town.. Unfortunately Wahoo met his demise one day and unfortunately no longer stands there... :(

This Wahoo mug has some carved up arm band tattoos and glazed up in different underglazes to pop up against the Jungle Brown glaze outer.. The inside on this mug has been finished in a Lava Red and he's got a cool necklace made from Cowry and Puka shells wrapped around his neck!

Stands at 7" tall and holds 18oz
